History: Baikhora H.S. School , one of the leading Schools in Southern part of the state of Tripura, started it journey as a Junior Basic School in the year 1951 and gradually upgraded to the High and lastly to the Higher Secondary stage. It is in the South Tripura District and situated right beside the NH-8 which connects it to Agartala, the Capital city of the State.
By road it’s almost 80 km journey from Agartala to the school and one can reach here by train also for which the nearest station is Santirbazar Railway Station which is almost 15 km away from the school.
The school was established as a collective effort of local visionaries with a view to spread the light of education among the locals and after crossing so many steps the school has reached its present state and is the main centre of literacy and education for the students of its surrounding area spreading over more than 20 Sq kms.
